Jinhai Group Attends Internal Discussion Meeting on Technical Summary Report of Xiangshui Offshore Wind Power Project

On August 30, 2016, under the leadership of Zhai Endi, the CEO of Yangtze River Three Gorges Group, and with the cooperation of Three Gorges Xiangshui Company, an internal discussion meeting on the technical summary report of Jiangsu Xiangshui offshore wind power project was held in Yancheng.

The project team for the Xiangshui Offshore Wind Farm is mainly composed of Zhai Endi, Chief Engineer of Three Gorges Group, Wang Wubin, Deputy General Manager of Three Gorges New Energy Company, Lu Zhongming, Vice President of Shangkan Institute, and Huang Rifu, Deputy Director of Strategic Planning Department of Three Gorges Group.

Meeting venue

The meeting was chaired by Mr. Zhai from Three Gorges Group, who conducted a technical summary and review report on the Jiangsu Xiangshui Offshore Wind Farm Project. Each company reports on their edited chapters and completed content. Our company has representatives including Chief Engineer Assistant Zhang Mingyi, Technical Director Zhang Dongcan, and Marketing Manager Zhai Zihan attending this meeting. Among them, 8 Goldwind 3MW-121 fans use our company's reverse balance flange, and 2 Siemens 4MW-130 fans use our company's anchor bolt foundation components. Regarding the summary of reverse balance flange and anchor bolt foundation technology, our company's Zhang Mingyi and Zhang Dongcan respectively provide supplementary explanations. Among them, for the application of reverse balance flanges - compared to forged flange structures, the bolt growth is more than 50%, which can maintain more elastic strain energy and has excellent anti loosening effect. By using the direct tensioning method to accurately apply bolt pre tightening force, the internal cause of bolt loosening is fundamentally avoided, the maintenance cycle is extended, and the subsequent maintenance cost is reduced. Realize cost savings throughout the entire lifecycle. End milling has fewer machining surfaces, saves energy and reduces consumption, and the cost is lower than forging flanges.

For the application of anchor bolt foundation - prestressed anchor bolt foundation overcomes the shortcomings of sudden changes in strength and stiffness of foundation ring foundation, which are prone to brittle failure, with good overall integrity and no weak links. Adopting the direct tensioning method to apply pre tensioning force, avoiding brittle fracture of anchor bolts under combined tensile and torsional stress states, improving anchor bolt strength, keeping the concrete in a compressed state without cracking, and improving structural durability.

The leaders of each company have put forward valuable opinions on the two parts, and our company has carefully recorded and reasonably adopted them. At the meeting, it was requested to complete the report writing by September 2, 2016.
