China Offshore Wind Power Industry Development International Summit and Offshore Wind Power Industry Chain Business Docking Summit
On August 24, 2016, the "China Offshore Wind Power Industry Development International Summit and Offshore Wind Power Industry Chain Business Connection Summit", hosted by China Offshore Wind Power Grid and co organized by Fujian Provincial Water Resources and Hydropower Survey and Design Institute, was held in Fuzhou, Fujian Province with the support of China Resources New Energy Holdings Co., Ltd., China Denmark Wind Energy Group, China Communications Third Navigation Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd., and China Energy Construction Group Yunnan Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. The conference attracted experts and well-known enterprises and institutions from the domestic and foreign wind power industry to attend. The conference representatives introduced, exchanged, and discussed the development of the domestic offshore wind power industry and the research and development of new products in recent years.

Our company's chief engineer Shi Hui, chief engineer assistant Dr. Zhang Mingyi, technical director Zhang Dongcan, and technical R&D personnel Zeng Jiangquan represented Jinhai Group at this meeting, and reported and introduced the current situation and prospects of the company's product reverse balance flange applied to offshore wind power at the meeting. In the working environment with multiple winds and waves at sea, the operating conditions of offshore wind turbine flanges are more severe than those on land. In addition to withstanding normal wind turbine operating loads, the probability of flanges being subjected to extreme loads such as typhoons and waves is greatly increased compared to onshore wind turbines. This poses a severe challenge to the safe operation of wind turbine support structures throughout their entire life cycle, and frequent maintenance also increases maintenance costs and risks. Dr. Zhang Mingyi emphasized the application and prospects of our company's core product at the meeting - "The Application Status and Prospects of Reverse Balance flanges in Offshore Wind Turbine Towers". Facing the challenges posed by offshore wind turbine flanges in connecting tower support structures, reverse balance flanges have better anti loosening performance, less maintenance, and core advantages in energy conservation and consumption reduction compared to traditional forged flanges.
