June 2013 was the 12th national "Safety Production Month". Our company focused on the theme of "strengthening safety foundation and promoting safety development", adhered to the work policy of "safety first, prevention as the main focus, and comprehensive governance", and carried out a series of safety production activities in accordance with the instructions of Three Gorges New Energy Group Company on carrying out the "Safety Production Month" activity. Through education and publicity, and other forms of activities, we aim to enhance the safety awareness of employees, make everyone fully aware of the importance of safety in production, and increase management efforts in safety system construction, daily safety production management, safety education and training, etc., in order to promote the healthy development of production work. The summary of safety production month activities is as follows:

1、 Strong organization and effective promotion

The company leaders attach great importance to the "Safety Production Month" activity and have established a "Safety Production Month Leadership Group" to make specific arrangements for the division of tasks and departments, and have approved special activity funds, providing strong support for this activity. According to the activity plan requirements of the group company, we have prepared and issued documents such as the "Safety Production Month Activity Plan", "Activity Implementation Rules", and "Activity Reward Measures" for Jiangsu Jinhai Company. Require all departments and workshops to carry out safety publicity and education activities in a solid manner based on their actual work, from the perspective of improving employee safety awareness, mastering safety production skills, and enriching safety knowledge. A supervision and supervision system has been established from top to bottom, with clear responsibilities and hierarchical management of activities. This has enabled employees to realize the importance and necessity of safety production from a ideological perspective, transform their understanding into conscious behavior, and integrate it into their daily work, forming a good atmosphere where everyone has a safe and secure relationship.

2、 Activity content and specific implementation situation

According to the spirit of the notice issued by China Three Gorges New Energy Company on carrying out the "Safety Production Month" activity in 2013, our company has taken the "Safety Production Month" activity as an opportunity to implement safety production in promoting production development. I mainly did the following tasks:

1. Banner promotion

Hang a huge safety propaganda banner at the company gate, saying, "Come to work happily and go home safely.". The content is simple yet profound, safety is for oneself and for his family, with more safety and less concern. A total of 20 safety brochures were posted at the entrance of the workshop, on both sides of the central safety passage, and in front of the workshop office building, covering knowledge on safety, environment, and occupational health. The content is vivid, rich, and intuitive. A total of 50 safety slogans have been pasted at the workshop operation position. The entire workshop has a strong safety promotion atmosphere, which enables employees to learn safety knowledge in their work.

2. Security Commitment Signing Activity

On the morning of May 31st, a signing event with the theme of "Strengthening Safety Foundation and Promoting Safety Development" was held at the entrance of Workshop 1. The atmosphere on site was lively, and all employees solemnly signed their names on the banner. A simple signature not only signed a responsibility to their family, but also a commitment to the safe development of the enterprise. Subsequently, hang the banner with the names of all company employees at the entrance of Gate 1, reminding everyone to take responsibility for their safety commitments. This safety signature activity has laid a solid foundation for the smooth implementation of the company's "Safety Production Month" activity and the orderly implementation of safety production work.

3. Safety production accident warning

From June 7th to 10th, six workshops watched typical accident case video materials in batches, including "Typical Cases of Crane Accidents", "Electrical Equipment Accidents", and "Workshop Team Violation Operation Accidents". The bloody lessons learned from these cases were shocking and made everyone deeply realize that even minor violations can also affect the safety of their lives. After watching, everyone had a conversation and realized the terrifying level of habitual violations at work. It is fortunate that my body has not been harmed so far. I will correct it promptly after returning to my position. Accident case education is a process of drawing lessons from others and preventing accidents in groups. It is a learning process that involves being vigilant, putting pressure on oneself, and enhancing the safety awareness of employees. To enable employees to truly understand the principle of "using blood to exchange lessons, not using blood to verify", it is necessary to mobilize employees to investigate loopholes, identify hidden dangers, discuss hazards, and find lessons, implement safety in practical work, and persist in it for a long time, making it standardized, institutionalized, and routine.

4. Safety knowledge exam and competition

From June 14th to 16th, safety knowledge exams will be held for management personnel and workshop operators. The exams will be conducted in a closed book format, with questions randomly selected from a review question bank in a certain proportion. Two different learning materials, management and operation, will be sent to each department and workshop one week before the exam for targeted learning of safety knowledge. All the management personnel in this exam passed the exam, but some employees in the workshop did not pass. Those who did not pass will receive further training and education until they pass before they can start working.

On July 5th, a workshop safety knowledge competition was held, with two representatives from each workshop participating in the competition. The on-site scoring and ranking were evaluated, and the standing car team and the second workshop won. Commemorative prizes were awarded as encouragement to employees who demonstrated positive behavior and had relatively rich knowledge of safety during the answering process. Through this activity, everyone will become familiar with safety management knowledge and systems, and master basic safety knowledge. Different ways have provided employees with new ways to memorize safety knowledge, mobilizing all employees to participate in safety management, and making everyone fully aware that caring for life and preventing accidents are important tasks for the company's development. It is necessary to establish a safety awareness among all employees, transform "I want safety" into "I want safety", and consolidate the foundation of safety production work.

5. Increase efforts in identifying hidden dangers

During the Safety Production Month, a three-level safety inspection system is implemented, which includes company level, workshop level, and team level. Through inspections at all levels, a total of 22 safety hazards were identified. The identified hazards were promptly rectified, eliminating safety blind spots and blind spots. Major hazards such as lifting operations and welding positioning machine safety protection bolts were specifically rectified, and high safety lifting tools and protective bolts were re equipped. The iron filings in the machining workshop should be promptly cleaned by the designated person, and the personnel operating site should be kept clean and free of debris. The activity space should be unobstructed. The drilling machine has been equipped with a chip breaking tool and a new iron hook has been made for easy operation, which is used to clean iron chips and prevent direct cleaning with hands or feet.

Through conducting hazard investigation activities, we have identified potential hazards in the workshop, implemented corrective measures and responsibilities, and achieved source prevention and long-term management. So far, the company has not experienced any safety accidents in the first half of the year. Through investigation, timely detection, and rectification, we have effectively curbed potential hazards and signs of accidents, thus avoiding the occurrence of safety accidents.

6. Fire safety emergency drill

On the afternoon of July 11th, Jiangsu Jinhai Company held the 2013 fire drill, inviting the local fire brigade for guidance. The relevant leaders of the Safety Supervision Bureau also attended the scene to observe and guide. The event was divided into two parts: fire knowledge popularization training and on-site drill. During the training, Yang Zhengwei of the fire brigade presented a PPT with text and pictures to explain the most common situations in daily life and work, how to correctly prevent fires and self rescue measures after fires occur. After the training, General Manager Shi made specific arrangements for the upcoming fire drill and took separate actions according to the original plan. Smoke bombs were placed in the workshop, and when the smoke spread everywhere, an alarm signal sounded. Personnel in the office and workshop quickly fled to the 8th gate of the factory building under the guidance of the evacuation personnel. Firefighters practiced submachine water guns for firefighting and rescuing injured personnel. There are a total of 4 fire source points and 16 bottles of carbon dioxide fire extinguishers arranged in the outdoor finished product storage area. Management personnel and workshop operators use fire extinguishers in batches to extinguish fires. Through drills, employees are familiar with the correct use methods and precautions of fire extinguishers, and can reduce losses to the lowest level in response to emergencies. The expected effect of the exercise has been achieved.

3、 Existing problems and directions for efforts

Although our "Safety Production Month" activities have diverse forms and rich content, there are still certain problems:

1. This event was widely welcomed by company employees, but some employees took leave or were late, resulting in weak initiative to participate in the event and a lack of collective awareness.

2. The education level of employees in the outsourced workshop is relatively low, and there are certain difficulties in safety exams or learning written materials; Some management personnel have a mentality of luck in the exam.

3. Similar activities can not only enable employees to learn knowledge, but also enrich corporate culture and life, enhance cohesion and centripetal force. We hope to hold them every year.

4. Put more effort into organizational planning, strengthen communication and collaboration among relevant departments, clarify division of labor, pay attention to the arrangement of activity details, and have contingency plans to deal with unexpected situations.

The ultimate goal of carrying out the "Safety Production Month" activity is to enhance people's awareness of safety production, reduce the occurrence of safety production accidents, and focus on building a harmonious and safe society. Thought is the precursor of behavior, and without correct ideological understanding, action is difficult to achieve. Carrying out safety production month activities cannot directly generate economic benefits, but through carrying out safety production activities, people's awareness of safety production has increased, safety production accidents have decreased, and it will play a promoting role in the development and economic benefits of the company.
