The Jinhai wind power truss tower and the industrialization project of the truss type ultra-high tower device suitable for large capacity wind turbines have been approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology, and have been approved as a key research and development project of the "Government International Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation" key special project (Guokejiaozi [2023] No. 5).

This project technology has broken through all obstacles that limit the height growth of wind turbine hubs, enabling high-power wind turbines to break through the height limit of 190 meters. It can maximize wind energy production in low and ultra-low wind speed areas, reduce wind power generation costs, and improve the technical level of wind power equipment in China, promoting the development of the wind power industry in China. The implementation of this project also conforms to the spirit of the notice jointly issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology and nine other ministries and commissions on the "Implementation Plan for Science and Technology to Support Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality (2022-2030)", with the goal of promoting the transfer and transformation of achievements, forming a comprehensive solution for energy-saving and carbon reduction technology led by technology and standards, and comprehensively enhancing the ability to transform low-carbon and zero carbon technology achievements. The technological advantages of truss towers will ensure the growth potential of the domestic wind power market in the next 10 years, and the steel pipe truss industry has broad development prospects in China. Jinhai Corporation has completed the trial production of key components and is about to mass produce and apply them.

The conference invited Professor Ma Renle from Tongji University to share his research on key issues and engineering applications of truss wind power towers, Mr. Yan Tingjun, Director of the Tower Business Department of the Wind Power Business Center of China Classification Society, to share his certification and risk prevention of the entire lifecycle of wind power truss tower products, and Mr. Zhang Dongchan, General Manager of the company's Marketing Center, to share his technical roadmap for truss tower projects.
