The General Party Branch Committee of Inner Mongolia Jinhai New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. of the Communist Party of China was established upon the approval of the former Party Committee of China National Water Investment Group Corporation (now the Party Committee of China Three Gorges New Energy (Group) Co., Ltd.) on January 4, 2009, with the approval document No. Guoshuitou Dang〔2009〕1.

In April 2020, the Party organization was transferred as a whole and came under the administration of the Working Committee for Non‑public Economic Organizations and Social Organizations of Rare‑earth High‑tech Zone, Baotou City, Inner Mongolia.

On October 13, 2025, upon official approval, the Party Branch was upgraded to a General Party Branch.
