On September 25, 2016, the "Marine Wind Power Engineering Construction Technology Forum" was held in Beijing, hosted by the Wind Energy Professional Committee of the China Renewable Energy Society and China Three Gorges Corporation, and organized by Three Gorges International Energy Investment Group Co., Ltd., China Three Gorges New Energy Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Survey and Design Institute Co., Ltd. The conference attracted well-known enterprises, institutions, and universities to attend.

Developing and utilizing green, environmentally friendly, and renewable new energy is an inevitable choice for achieving sustainable energy development. Wind energy, as a clean and renewable energy source, has achieved stable and rapid development throughout the country. The attending representatives discussed and exchanged ideas on key technologies faced in offshore wind power investment, design, construction, and scientific research. The conference invited well-known experts from relevant fields at home and abroad to give keynote speeches, and invited scientific and technological workers and engineering technicians from related fields to give keynote speeches and exchange ideas, in order to promote the innovative development of offshore wind power engineering in China.

Our company's R&D center director and Professor Ma Renle from Tongji University gave a report titled "Strengthening Variable Diameter Single Pile Wind Turbine Foundations with Pre stressing Self locking Anchor Rods under Offshore Rock Foundation Conditions" at the meeting, proposing a new approach for the design of offshore wind power foundations. Zhang Dongcan, Deputy Technical Director of the Marketing Department of the company, and Zhai Zihan, Manager of the Marketing Department, attended this meeting. Jinhai Group has been committed to the research and production of wind power support structures for a long time. Its main products, reverse balance flanges and prestressed anchor bolts, have been successfully applied in offshore wind farms such as Three Gorges Xiangshui and Huaneng Rudong, and have received unanimous praise from owners.

The conference successfully concluded at 5:45 pm on the 27th, strengthening exchanges among offshore wind power investors, builders, and engineering and technology workers, promoting interdisciplinary development, and promoting innovative development in China's offshore wind power engineering.
