Jinhai Group participated in the 23rd China Tower Structure Competition

On July 27, 2016, the 23rd Academic Exchange Conference on Chinese Tall Structures, sponsored by Tongji University, the Tall Structures Professional Committee of the China Engineering Construction Standardization Association, and the Tall Structures Professional Committee of the Bridge and Structural Engineering Branch of the China Civil Engineering Society, was held in Dali, Yunnan Province, China. The conference attracted more than 120 experts and colleagues from China engaged in research, design, production, and teaching of high-rise structures. The conference representatives introduced, exchanged, and discussed the new achievements and technologies in scientific research, design, construction, testing and maintenance of high-rise structures in China in recent years.

Professor Ma Renle, a professor at Tongji University, Chairman of the Tall Structure Professional Committee of the China Engineering Construction Standardization Association, Chairman of the Tall Structure Professional Committee of the Bridge and Structural Engineering Branch of the China Civil Engineering Society, and Director of the Tongji Jinhai Wind Power Structure Research and Development Center, first delivered a welcome speech and summarized the revision work of the "Design Code for Tall Structures" in the past two years.

Dr. Zhang Mingyi, Assistant Chief Engineer of our company, and Researcher Ma Yihu, R&D backbone, representing Jinhai Group and Tongji Jinhai Wind Power Structure Research and Development Center, were invited to attend the meeting and report on the company's research and development achievements in the wind power field.

Dr. Zhang Mingyi gave a vivid explanation of our company's key research and development project in the field of wind power - the application of high-precision templates for prefabricated concrete cylindrical unit rings (PPC) in wind power foundation design. The research and development of this project has long-term significance for accelerating the industrial development and application of prefabricated prestressed cylindrical foundations and hybrid towers in the field of wind turbine support structures.

Researcher Ma Yihu introduced our company's key research and development achievement - prestressed self-locking head anchor rods in rock foundations of wind power towers, and presented in detail the results of 10 million anti fatigue tests conducted at the Multi functional Vibration Experimental Center of Tongji University. The application of self-locking anchor rods has improved the stress characteristics of anchor rod foundations in rock areas. The safety and reliability of this technology have been verified through ultimate load and fatigue load tests.
