On November 8th, the 50MW wind power project of Jinhai Gulangxinbao was officially approved by the Development and Reform Commission of Wuwei City.

The construction unit of Jinhai Gulangxinbao 50MW wind power project is Gansu Newanjie New Energy Development Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Inner Mongolia Jinhai New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. The project construction site is located in Xinbao Township, Gulang County, covering an area of 14625.47 square meters, with a total installed capacity of 50000 kilowatts. It will install 8 wind turbines with a single unit capacity of 5.56 megawatts and 1 wind turbine with a single unit capacity of 5.52 megawatts. A new 110 kV booster station will be built, and 24 kilometers of 110 kV transmission lines will be built, along with supporting facilities such as 35 kV integrated power lines and roads. At the same time, energy storage facilities with a duration of 4 hours shall be configured at 15% of the total installed capacity of wind power.

Compared to thermal power plants with the same power generation, this project can save approximately 33602.18 tons of standard coal for the power grid each year. Correspondingly, the annual emissions of various harmful gases caused by coal combustion can be reduced, including 11.26 tons of sulfur dioxide emissions, 16.94 tons of nitrogen oxides emissions, 2.45 tons of smoke emissions, and 92280.60 tons of greenhouse gas carbon dioxide emissions, which have good economic and social benefits.

The approval of the 50MW wind power project in Jinhai Gulangxinbao signifies that Jinhai Group has achieved new important results in the development of new energy. Next, Jinhai Group will deeply implement the Three Gorges Group's carbon peak and carbon neutrality strategy goals, continue to increase investment in new energy, actively strive for high-quality new energy projects, and contribute to economic and social development.
